A pharmaceutical client sought to become the new standard of care for a chronic illness within the area of respiratory care. The client was developing an innovative prescription medicine with a unique formulation indicated to significantly impact patient care, quality of life, and related health outcomes.
Via a contract partnership, the client outsourced 18 Managed Care Liaisons (MCLs) to identify national, regional, state, and federal Managed Care accounts for the provision of fair-balance/evidence-based scientific/clinical presentations aimed at improving prescription access across all formulary tier levels.
Within a six-month period, MCLs successfully delivered more than 300 formulary presentations to 85% of identified accounts, whereby 70% of the accounts placed the product on "preferred status" within all formulary tier levels.
